Employee Spotlight: Meet Alex

At Ramcon, our people are the foundation of everything we build—and that’s why we’re proud to highlight team members who go above and beyond every day. This month, we’re excited to introduce you to Alex, one of our dedicated Production Foremen who has been with Ramcon for over six years.

A Day in the Life

As a Production Foreman, Alex plays a critical role in keeping our roofing projects on track and up to standard. His day starts early, coordinating with crews, reviewing plans, managing materials, and making sure every step of the roofing process runs smoothly. From safety checks to final walkthroughs, Alex is there ensuring nothing gets overlooked.

“Every job is different,” he says, “and that’s what keeps it interesting.” Whether it’s a high-profile commercial project or a fast-paced repair, Alex leads with a strong work ethic and a calm, steady presence that his team can count on.

Weathering the Unexpected

One of the most challenging moments in Alex’s career came during a tear-off project when an unexpected Florida storm rolled in. With no time to lose and the roof exposed, Alex grabbed a tarp and held it in place for three straight hours—protecting the building until the weather cleared and work could safely resume.

“I couldn’t just walk away,” he says. “The roof wasn’t ready, and I knew we had to keep it covered.” That level of dedication isn’t unusual for Alex—it’s how he approaches every challenge, big or small.

Why Ramcon?

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Ramcon, Alex is quick to answer: “The people and the consistency. It’s an honest company that cares about its employees—and in six years, I’ve never run out of work.” He appreciates the stability Ramcon offers, along with the opportunity to grow, lead, and keep learning on the job.

Life Beyond the Roof

Outside of work, Alex is a devoted father to his 7-year-old son. Most of their time is spent together on the football field, either tossing the ball around or cheering from the sidelines. He lights up when talking about fatherhood—it’s clear that being a great dad is just as important to him as being a great foreman.

And here’s a fun fact most people don’t know: Alex is a huge fan of dubstep music. It’s his go-to soundtrack when he’s off the clock and just enjoying life.
