Service Technician

Location: Tampa, Orlando
Job type: Full-time

Join RAMCON’s service team as a Foreman or Technician. Inspect, troubleshoot and repair commercial roofs, with opportunities to develop your skills or lead a two-person crew.

Experience and requirements

Foremen: 5+ years of commercial roofing service and repair experience required.
Foremen: Expertise in TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR and modified bitumen roofing systems.
Foremen: Strong customer communication and crew leadership skills.
Foremen: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and successful drug screening required.
Technicians: 2–3 years of roofing service experience preferred.
Technicians: Valid driver’s license required.
Technicians: Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb ladders over 40 feet.
Technicians: Reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn.

Commercial Roofer

Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
Job type: Full-time

Install, repair and maintain commercial roofing systems with a RAMCON crew. Work under a foreman’s direction, help maintain a safe jobsite and build your skills through onsite training.

Experience and requirements

Commercial roofing experience: 2 years preferred.
Experience with TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, standing seam or roof coatings preferred.
Knowledge of roofing, construction or a related field.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb a ladder over 40 feet.
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to job sites.
Ability to operate power tools and construction equipment safely.
Initial pre-employment drug screening required.
Basic English skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Ability to commute to the assigned work location.

Crane Operator/Driver

Location: Tampa, FL

Job type: Full-time

Drive and operate RAMCON trucks and crane equipment to deliver materials safely to commercial roofing jobsites across Florida.

Experience and requirements

CDL Class A, Class B or Class C required.
HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
N, P, S, T or X endorsements preferred.
At least six months of OTR experience.
Crane operator and rigger experience: 1 year preferred.
21 years or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations.
Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred.
Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Clean driving record; no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
Able to pass random drug tests.
Strong listening, verbal communication and dependability.

Lead commercial roofing projects from preconstruction through closeout. Direct crews, protect quality and safety, and coordinate with Project Managers and fellow Superintendents.

Experience and requirements

6+ years of commercial roofing experience with a history of advancement.
Extensive experience in quality application of modified bitumen and single-ply roofing assemblies.
Proven organizational, management and leadership skills.
Experience with project scheduling and measuring performance against budget goals.
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Valid driver’s license; pre-employment drug test, DMV screen and background check required.
Ability to commute to assigned project locations.
