Project Spotlight: Supporting Growth at First Baptist Church Plant City

As First Baptist Church Plant City continues to grow, so does its commitment to creating spaces that better serve its congregation and the surrounding community. RAMCON was proud to contribute to that vision through the successful completion of roofing work on Project #10895 — First Baptist Office Building, part of the church’s ongoing campus expansion at 3309 James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City, Florida.

The project is part of the church’s larger Phase Two expansion, which was designed to accommodate continued growth by adding new ministry areas, classrooms, office space, gathering areas, and a Welcome Center. As the campus expands to serve more families, students, and ministries, every aspect of construction must be built for long-term performance—including the roofing system that protects it all.

A Roofing System Built for Performance

RAMCON installed approximately 95 squares of Elevate Roofing Systems mechanically attached TPO roofing across the new office building. The scope also included roofing for the campus’s new Welcome Center, ensuring a consistent, high-quality roofing solution across multiple additions.

Beyond the TPO installation, the project required a shingle mansard roof system and carefully fabricated sheet metal flashings designed to integrate the new roof sections seamlessly into the existing building envelope. Every transition, penetration, edge detail, and flashing was completed with precision to create a watertight roofing system that will perform reliably for years to come.
